Induction Day
The first day of Secondary School can be a very anxious time for both pupils and parents. It's a big leap from Primary School to the routine of Secondary School, so we have tried to give as much information as we can to help make your child feel happy and secure as they cope with these huge changes.
The induction days normally take place over 2 days in June. They are organised to help give you a taste of what secondary life is like at Paisley Grammar School. You will follow a timetable for both days and will get to visit most of the departments in the school. Teachers organise lessons and activities which will give you an idea of w\hat you can expect when you come back in August.
Don't worry about getting lost during your visits!! There are pupil guides who will collect you and take you from class to class round the school so that you know where you're going. It can take a while to get used to the layout of the building so just ask someone if you're unsure. We have also provided a printable map of the school if you would like to look at it before you come up for your visit.
