The role of Home Link in Paisley Grammar is to foster closer links and break down barriers between home and school and to enable families to access support from outside agencies.
We work closely with, and are based with the Pupil Support Team to help address issues that are preventing pupils achieving their potential at school, home and in the community, such as:
· Times of transition, P7 to S1 and S4,S5, S6
· Emotional well-being
· Self esteem/confidence issues
· Attendance concerns
· Difficulties at home
· Bereavement, separation or loss
· Anxiety
· Lack of motivation
· Bullying concerns
· Behaviour
· Anger Management
There are two members of the Home Link Service within Paisley Grammar:
· Jane Ahlfeld, Home Link Worker & Debbie Proctor, Home Link Assistant whose role is predominately to support pupils who are at risk of exclusion.
